Crack-resistant concrete coarse fibers offer crack resistance and impermeability at a low cost.
Crack-resistant concrete coarse fibers are widely used in municipal projects and private constructions due to their low cost and ease of application in the field of crack-resistant concrete.
In the field of crack-resistant concrete, industry standards specify that fiber tensile strength ranges between 270 MPa and 400 MPa. To meet market demands, TopStar Concrete Fibers uses polypropylene recycled pellets and mature drawing processes to reduce the cost of crack-resistant concrete coarse fibers, maximizing cost savings for customers. The initial design of these fibers aimed to replace transparent crack-resistant coarse fibers made from polypropylene raw materials to reduce costs. If the color of the fibers is not a concern in the project, recycled crack-resistant concrete coarse fibers can perfectly substitute for transparent polypropylene fibers. While ensuring fiber performance, recycled crack-resistant concrete fibers can save clients one-sixth of their project costs, maintaining project quality and progress.
In practical applications, crack-resistant concrete coarse fibers are increasingly used as alternatives to wire mesh and steel fibers to reduce the weight of structures. They are widely applied in municipal projects (including cement pipes, slope protection, cement guardrails, and cement covers and private constructions (including brick carvings, cement wall caps, cultured stone, and self-built houses with permanent formwork). Crack-resistant concrete coarse fibers are easy to transport and handle, simple to construct with, and require minimal post-construction maintenance. The fibers’ surface features a threaded physical indentation, enhancing their grip within the concrete. When added to concrete, the fibers effectively suppress internal micro-crack formation during initial hardening, thereby improving the concrete’s resistance to large cracks over time, increasing its density, and enhancing its impermeability.

User guidance
Dosage: The general dosage is 2.0-5.0kg/m3.
Length: The length should be 30-58mm. Depends on concrete thickness.
Mixing: It is advisable to add fiber in the concrete mixing station to ensure that the fiber is evenly dispersed.
Curing: The construction and curing process of concrete after adding fibers is exactly the same as the system without adding fibers.
